[Update] Full List Of Tokyo Disney Resort Closures in 2018

Closure of Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea rides

If you’re planning a trip to Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea anytime this year, do take note that there are some rides and attractions currently undergoing works and might be closed! To help you decide when to visit, check out the full list of ride closures below.

While this is definitely a huge bummer, we’ve also suggested other things you can do in Tokyo in the case that your favorite ride is closed!

Klook tips for battling the closures

Tokyo DisneySea

  • Preplan your visits by identifying your must-try rides and check if they are open during the duration of your visit.
  • Ride closures will also mean longer queues at other rides so do grab your fast passes quickly upon entering the park
  • If you feel like you won’t be able to get your Disney fill from just one park, visit BOTH parks for maximum enjoyment
  • Klook your open-dated ticket and choose the date with the least ride closures to visit.
  • Enter the park directly with your Klook ticket and waste no time in the ticketing lines outside

Luckily for us, they’ve scheduled the maintenance such that at any point of time, no more than 2 rides are closed! This means that you’ll still be able to ride majority of the rides during your visit.

1. Fuji Q Highland

Fuji Q Highland

If you can’t get enough of Tokyo theme parks, why not visit Fuji Q Highland as well! This park is definitely a must visit for all you adrenaline junkies. Home to two Guinness World Record holding rides, we wouldn’t suggest this for the faint hearted.

Fuji Q highland

Dodonpa is the fastest accelerating roller coaster and the perfect ride if you have a need for speed. Takabisha is the world’s steepest coaster and nothing really screams Tokyo theme park like racing down the tracks with Mount Fuji beside you.

Be sure to Klook your Fuji Q Highland tickets to skip the long ticketing lines! Just print out your Klook voucher and enter the park directly.
